Biscuit 1.2.2
Biscuit 1.2.2 is out. Download it for Windows, macOS or Linux. If you already use Biscuit, it will offer you the update. It comes a few hours after 1.2.1, ahead of our usual two weeks, because of a bug that kept Solana from sending.
Solana sends again
In 1.2.1, Solana stayed on “Synchronizing” forever. Your SOL balance was right and you could receive, but every send was refused with “Wait until Solana is synchronized”, and that never happened. To estimate the fee of a send, Biscuit asks the Solana node what recent payments paid, and that question was written slightly wrong: the node refused it, and without a fee Biscuit never considered Solana ready. It is now asked correctly, and Solana is ready in a second or two.
Nothing was lost: no SOL left your wallet, and nothing needs to be done after the update.
Prices on Home
The prices on Home now include Solana and Dogecoin, after USDC, and so does the converter. As with the other coins, a price only shows if your wallet holds that coin. If you changed the list of prices yourself, it stays as you set it: add them in Settings › Plugins, under Tickers, with Configure.
Help
The documentation in Help is up to date again: exchange swaps in Tor mode go through Biscuit’s own exchanges, and the status bar shows your balance as one total.
As always, please verify your download before you install it.
