Biscuit 1.0.4
Biscuit 1.0.4 is out. You can download it for Windows and Linux. If you already use Biscuit, it will tell you about the update.
What changes:
- Tails and Whonix: Tor mode is always on, and atomic swaps go through the system’s Tor instead of starting a second Tor inside it.
- A check that Tor really works: in Tor mode, if Biscuit’s connections do not reach the internet through Tor, the status bar says Not going through Tor. See Tor and privacy.
- Your own Tor: if Tor already runs on your computer, Biscuit suggests it at first launch and uses it.
- Always visible: the onion in the status bar is grey when you connect directly, one click from Tor mode.
- New icons: the status bar, the settings and the coins are now drawn in pixel art, like the tabs.
- Swaps after Tor: exchange swaps work as soon as you turn Tor mode off, without reopening your wallet.
- A setting that had slipped out of place in Settings › Appearance is back where it belongs.
As always, please verify your download before you install it.
